Social Media Analyst

-Remote Contract Role


The Social Media Analyst will help colleagues and senior stakeholders understand the effectiveness of social media activities and develop metrics-driven strategies to improve performance and meet business goals. You will responsible for executing the firm’s social media measurement strategy on a global basis, and integrating metrics from other interactive communications activities including paid media, email and web analytics. You should have hands-on experience using Social listening and measurement tools; reporting tools such as PPT and Tableau, and a strong understanding of how to leverage metrics and insight to inform the development of effective digital communications.


•Measure the company’s social media activity using social media community measurement tools. Assist with social media monitoring programs with other centralized teams win Firm communications.
•Working with stakeholders including those in Firm communications and Firm IT / T&D to ensure analytics is embedded in development roadmaps and deployed consistently
•Social media analytics: Run reports to incorporate social media monitoring reporting, SOV (Share of Voice) reporting, and other social monitoring reporting.
•Web analytics: Run ad-hoc reports to incorporate paid media, site performance data and help with analysis and summary of findings.
•Assist with other ad-hoc projects as needed


•Interpretation skills in reviewing social media data and other online data to react to issues and other concern
•Data analysis using Microsoft Excel features such as sort, filter, pivot table, etc.
•Ability to write and edit complicated SQL statements
•Experience with Tableau highly desired.
•Experience with a web analytics suite such as Adobe Analytics is also highly desired
•Detail orientated and analytical minded. Strong organization skills to organize data for presentation
•Outstanding communications and influencing skills with the ability to clearly communicate data, context, and implications to colleagues and stakeholders (both oral and visual)
•Collaborative working style


•At least 3-4 years’ experience in a business experience working in marketing analytics, digital/interactive advertising, or social media
•Highly experienced with a number of social media measurement tools for monitoring and reporting
•Experienced with working in an office environment
•A bachelor’s or advanced studies degree or equivalent in public relations, marketing, social media management or business communications highly desired
